Dope Couture x Melody Ehsani Necklace & Three Finger Ring

Dope Couture and Melody Ehsani take a page out of Verbal’s book to design some conspicuous neon jewelry. A bit more moderately priced than the Ambush line, Dope Couture offers a pair of three finger rings, and pendant chains in the same vein. So as it turns out you don’t even need to be a thousand-aire to get some couture, as long as it’s dope.

Dior Homme M.Y Sneaker Customization

We come once again back to Dior Homme today. Even though we are a little late with the news, we still find it worth noting. Over the past weekend the brand’s Paris flagship store offered sneaker customization on their low top sneaker. One had the possibility to add their initials to the tongue of the sneaker. It is interesting seeing high fashion brands taking note of the developments in sportswear.

Gucci Eyeweb Goggles

Throwing their hat in the extreme sports accessory ring, Gucci has used their iconic green-red-green colorup on a pair of technologically savvy Goggles. The winter sports season is upon us, and many a weekend from now until March will be spent careening down the slopes, so why not do it in style and have something rad to match your Gucci Dunks while you sip coco in the lodge.

Moncler Opens Shanghai Boutique

Moncler continues to open boutique doors in new markets outside of Europe. Following up on their Hong Kong shop, which complemented their London, Milan, and Paris shops. “Designed by the Gilles & Boissier architecture studio, the Shanghai boutique in Plaza 66 covers an area of 130 m² and recalls the DNA of the Moncler brand in its conception, whilst at the same time giving it a contemporary-luxury twist… Two large windows open into the Moncler world, emphasised by French panelling in carved wood with floral relief motifs. It is a welcoming look which is in stark contrast with the glass used for the central counter and the pierre bleu used for the walls and floor.”

Diamond Supply Co. - NYC Pop-Up Store | A Closer Look

Californian sunshine lights up the dreary New York winter with Diamond Supply Co. moving into to Lower East Side in the form of a pop-up shop. Diamond Supply Co. is a skateboarding apparel, gear and accessories label created by Nick Tershay a.k.a Nick Diamond back in 1988, when skating evolved from a subculture of surf to a street sport in the cities and away from the sea. Diamond Supply Co. is known for its bravado and cheeky graphics, and of course, the diamond logo which blings out the label’s products down to the “Hella Slick Wax”.

The label’s move to NYC is facilitated and housed by Lower East Side retailer, Prohibit NYC. The space opened today and will be up and running till the end of the year. Not just bringing a dose of the west coast to the city, the pop-up venture actually sports items tailored specifically for the NYC skaters. The NYC items are limited edition and includes apparel ranging from graphic tees, hoodies, pullovers, hoodies and the every-popular varsity jacket– all in a brooding New York black and white with New York specific references. One of the tees, DLNY takes a stab at the DKNY ad mural on Houston Street and tweaked it to fit Diamond Supply Co. Aside from specialty items, the label has also brought along their Holiday 2009 collection. So drop by the pop-up store hosted within Prohibit on your Holiday shopping trails and pick up some ice along the way. via: Diamond Supply Co.

Nike Air Carnivore - Summer 2010

Nike is set to re-release the Air Carnivore, a sneaker that is popular among collectors of original models of unique kicks from yesteryear. This early 90s look is highlighted by the huge midfoot straps and teal and purple color palatte. The midsole is molded in the center and part of the forefoot midsole is a striped, zebra-ish pattern. One major highlight of the sneaker is the Huarache-styled neoprene sock that goes up mega-high on the heel and wraps around with a strap that connects to the sole. With the fury or retro releases, this is sure to be a huge release when it drops in the spring of 2010. Stay tuned for more detailed release information.
