Marc Jacobs F/W '09

has always been eccentric and extravagant and probably this is just what we all love in him and his fashion creations.

For autumn and winter 2009-2010 he chose neon lights as well as dark hues to show he understands how hard the time is at the moment.

The collection has a clear twist of the 80s with those big shoulders, bright leggings, extravagant makeup and crimpy hair. Something we will never be able to forget.

I was thinking about the good old days in New York,” the designer said, “when getting dressed up was such a joy.”

As usual his combinations of garments seem to be too odd though interesting. I think those women who are confident enough about wearing what others label as inappropriate could try MJ outfits.

However, most of the pieces would look perfect if they are used separately from the combinations they are presented to us by the designer.

The MJ range unveiled during includes little silver-and-black A-line shifts; party dresses in metallic leathers and floral brocades with flaring, full skirts and monster shoulders; velvet bustier tops and high-waisted over-dyed jeans; and Crayola-bright jackets, capes, and hooded coats. All of these came in luxury fabrics.

Beside amazing coats and dresses, presented lots of very bright and even sparkling tights and leggings. They looked a bit overstyled but still fabulous!

As for the bags, MJ kept them simple and basic pretty similar to Chanel bags.
